1.	The deadline for listings to be added to a tour is no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the tour date. For example, if a tour is scheduled for December 17, then the last day to add your listing is December 10, by 5 pm.
2.	The TAR Office will arrange advertising for the tour.
	•	Ads will be placed in the Telluride Daily Planet, most likely in the form of a ½ to full page ad listing the properties scheduled on the tour
	•	Only those properties entered into the Paragon system by the deadline described above will appear in the ad
	•	The TAR Office will also send e-mails to the membership, notifying our members of the tour properties, time, locations, etc.
3.	The TAR Office will divide the total cost of any newspaper ads by the total number of listings on the tour, and subsequently invoice each listing broker for their share of the advertising costs.
4.	The deadline to withdraw a listing from a tour, is three (3) calendar days prior to the tour date, by 5 pm.
	•		If advertising has been arranged and finalized prior to withdrawal from the tour, the listing broker of the withdrawn listing is still expected to contribute towards the cost of the advertising.
5.	Brokers with listings on the tour are expected to have their properties open, with signs and other materials readily displayed in order to make locating the property easier for both the public, and other brokers.

Many of these guidelines are on an honor-system basis, with no disciplinary action in the case of failure to comply. The TAR Office is not intending to ‘police’ or make the Brokers Open tour restrictive. These guidelines have been developed in order to continue the success of the Brokers Open tour.

	New listing Previews:
	•	New listings applicable for the Preview are listings in the specified area that have been listed since the last Preview for the specified area. For example, if there is a Telluride Preview in August then again in December, listings listed in Telluride within those months are applicable

MV Open House- Event Parking Procedures

(From MV Police Dept- Please contact them regarding parking on roadways. Procedures are listed below)

When an event is held at a private residence, we ask for a minimum 24 hours notice prior to the event. We need the address/location and the approximate number of vehicles that will park on the public right-of-way. Code enforcement or an officer will then survey the location and determine the best/safest location to park the requested number of vehicles. We require that all vehicles be parked with traffic flow and on just one side of the road, not both.

On the day of the event, code enforcement will mark the boundaries of the pre-approved parking area with orange parking cones and readily visible signage on approach to the location. When the event is over, code enforcement will then remove the cones/signage.

The permit for this service is provided at no cost. It merely allows the PD to ensure a safe location that will be congested with vehicles and pedestrian traffic.

Rest assured that we have no intention of hammering a homeowner who is hosting a personal or social event.

In town Parking- Telluride Lodge

BEWARE!!!!!

There is a young capitalist working the parking lots at the Telluride Lodge who has begun BOOTING cars (with Telluride Lodge association authorization) while we’re showing units! Even if you’re gone for 10 minutes, you can come back to find a boot on your car. $50.00 to have it removed! Either put a note on your dash that says you’re showing or get a parking pass from the front desk…
